 Baking soda

Baking soda is a popular kitchen material that can be used to treat different medical maladies which includes smelly feet. Baking soda has been effective for getting rid of foot odor since it neutralizes the pH level of your sweat. This in turn reduces the number of bacteria.

  1. Add one tablespoon of soda for every quart of warm water. Soak both feet for 15 to 20 minutes daily (preferably at night) for an entire week.
  2. Add some baking soda on your socks and shoes before you put them on.

Vinegar

You might wonder how vinegar stops the nasty smell caused by sweaty feet when in fact it elicits a bad odor itself. Well, vinegar helps because its acid creates an atmosphere that is acidic and interferes with the growth of bacteria.

  1. Mix 6 to 8 cups of warm water with ½ cup of vinegar.
  2. Soak both feet for 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. After soaking, rinse your feet thoroughly with soap to ensure that the smell of vinegar will not linger as well.
